Not the weirdest thing I've heard about us doing. Okay. I can roll with that.

I think that's what we're doing. It reminds me a little of the Golden Land, except we can't open doors and there's no Furniture to play with us or bring us snacks.

It's what Witches call the servants we either make or call up as demons! I dunno why, but that's what we call them.

You know, it occurs to me that when we have some free time, I should write a handbook of some kind. Being dead is pretty confusing, and people tend to make fools of themselves at first. The Egyptian Book of the Dead could use an update from a more modern ghost.

The short version, then, is that a living physical body is not necessary for a person to 'exist'. Whether you died or the Arcana merely decided you should play the role of a spirit on this Jaunt, your awareness, your 'self' is now continuing to be without being attached to flesh.

Normally that means only specific forms of magic can affect you from the corporeal world, and vice versa. However, it seems that in this particular domain the rules are a bit different, and we're still bound by some Earthly physical laws in theory.

Like, we can't pass through solid objects, but we don't have the ability to lift or move things, either.

Yes. It's rather inconsistent, isn't it? I can still use my magic to get around barriers, but it's strenuous and annoying since we're playing by the Arcana's rules and not my own. There should be some other way for ghosts to manipulate the living world...

Is that magic you can teach? I spent hours in an attic.

It certainly is. Normally it takes a good deal of training and ritual, but thanks to where we are and what we're doing, we can just treat normal space like Liminal Space instead. How good are you with Portals?

I can make a basic portal, I can store things I pick up, I can redecorate Liminal Space a little.

Alright, you're definitely ready...Teleportation isn't too difficult. It's the same concept as opening a portal, you're just aiming at a point in the same realm of existence instead of linking Liminal Space and the Jaunt world.

Now, mind you, even once you first get it, you'll only be able to pull it off three or four times a day, so it's not a cure-all for walls and doors.

Beyond that note of caution, it's mostly like opening a Portal. You find the gaps and cracks in space that aren't there, and then pass through them.

As far as Liminal Skills go? It's like a second semester freshman course at worst. You should try it once you have a safe target area in mind.

Yeah, that sounds like an important safety tip. Are there any more of those?

Don't try to go beyond 50 feet or so until you have some practice, don't try to combine it with Portals until you have a lot of practice, and if you see a busty redhead in the non-space between point A and point B, tell her I said hi.
