Guys I'm finally myself for once!!

[no seriously you have no idea how happy he is about this. though if you saw him in his costume this might be a surprise to you.]

So, um. So far I've figured out that this is called Questing Country, and it's some kind of dream scape? So it's ok to say we don't live here, and would actually be really weird to say that we did. People here go on quests to find something called a Valence, which can grant a wish, but it's only given to whoever is 'the most worthy'. To get there you have to like fight 'dream beasts' and things like that.

And we have magic! Even if we're investigating. They seem to be themed, so I'm the... Champion of Stars, I guess? Which is weird. [but at least the Trumps let up on all the death references.] The animals and stuff that show up will help us, but they seem kind of cryptic and we have to figure out the magic on our own.

Um... that's all I've got, I think. Has anyone else figured out anything? I'm at least pretty sure that the Valence is a thing we need to try and go after.

Not all of us have magic. Or animals. I'm apparently something called a Pillar, and magic doesn't work at all around me.

Really? That's... kind of confusing. I wonder why that is?

Whatever it is, I've been told it's "sad". Pillars don't fight and don't exhibit hope, and those little spirit creatures avoid us.

I don't know. None of the dangers of this place seem to be bothering me. Perhaps that's it.

I seem to be the Champion of the Truth. The landscape changes when each of these trials have been solved, I have been told.

Leave it to me to be cynical in the face of all of these... sparkles, however is anyone else a bit unsettled by the fact that we're yet again chasing something that can grant a miracle?

Oh, and I seem to be male. Is anyone else experiencing physical changes?

I'm one of the few who isn't any Champion or Pillar or anything else.

So I honestly have no idea what to do in this case.

Um... I don't really know, either. Have you seen any 'natives' who aren't anything? [because otherwise you're going to look super weird.]

None and honestly...it doesn't bother me.

I haven't checked. Been mostly keeping to myself.

That makes sense. That might not be normal here, so I'm just wondering what people would do. [and if they need to make up a story for her.]

Maybe. Or they're trying to separate us even more, if this place is all about competition.

So that's Champions, Pillars, and Oracles, evidently. [Casually bringing up a new term.]

What do Oracles do?

They're what Champions become when they're a little less naive, apparently. [Hitsugaya, that's not nice.] Less powerful, but more knowledgeable and act as mentor figures to Champions.

I see. Then that explains why everyone is able to recognize that I am not human, despite being told they wouldn't be able to do so.

What manner of magic do we all seem to have, then? I can still call upon what the Dark Gifts gave me and what I've learned from long practice, but I'd rather avoid using much of it if it would give me away as being out of place.

I think it depends on the person. So I've got stuff related to Stars.

I see. Perhaps I am overthinking this. My true form is recognized here, although unsurprisingly no one has recognized precisely what I am. It would seem the simplest answer is the truthful one. That my people were highly practiced in magic. Although there is of course the possible problem of magic not existing in the worlds outside of this place.

There are a bunch of different worlds people are from here, though. You could probably get away with it.
