Ladies, what would you say to a little science? All three of us are coming at it from somewhat different backgrounds, but if we put our heads together I bet we could still get somewhere useful with it.
I'd been considering testing the food anyway - mainly to shut Jules-san up, though that aspect's a moot point now. Matthew-san suggested testing it anyway, to try to figure out how lingering the effects are likely to be. And he has instructions for a test for that plague that we should probably take a crack at re-making.
At the very least, testing the food would need three sets of anything we decided to test, and it'll be less suspicious if three separate people do the shopping.

[Especially now that she's working at a Darksider cafe, one with a very generous outlook on free food for their employees. She's a bit worried about that now, honestly.]
I can handle things on the Darksider front, unless one of you wants it.

Coffee or tea would be a good thing to get, since they have a Duskling variety at the cafe.

Given that Duskling stuff tends to steer clear of refined sugar, it might be harder to find good equivalents across the board for those, but it's worth seeing what we can find out either way.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they want to keep the facade going as long as they possibly can and make it someone else's problem. But doing that might only make the eventual collapse of this system worse.

If we can find out, it'll probably help, in general if not with the food problem. If not, I'm sure someone else will be working on it.

Not to mention Tower was there.
