Hello? Is this working? This is Armin, talking from over jauntside. Assuming you're all getting this, I've probably only got about 40 minutes. [He does, though it will end up being more like 5 hours for everyone on the walkabout, given the time differential. But then, that's one of the things he's here to ask about.]

This may seem like an odd question, but how long has it been, on your side of things? We're only at the start of the third day, here, but with the way liminal space is behaving, we're wondering if time is moving faster over here, like the Expo on the walkabout in Chikyuumaru.

Beyond that, where did you end up? Have you figured out if there's a purpose behind your presence there yet?

Let me know quickly if you have any questions for anyone jauntside, or if there's any help I can provide with my network abilities. If we're right about the time differential, this is the only time I'll be able to contact you before the end of the jaunt.

I understand. Is there something in particular you're having problems with, in your new form? If there's nobody with experience you can ask over there, I might be able to find someone who had a hecatite form on this side I can talk to for you. At the very least, I know someone who was half-hecatite.

[The conversation has had unusually long pauses between Armin's responses, thanks to the time differential, so this one is particularly noticeable. After at least a good ten minutes (only a little more than one for Armin), he replies.]

...Alcuin says the answer is to either grind and polish your points to a smooth, rounded edge, or to not sleep on sheets.

Not... really. There seems like there's some hotels here? But nothing specific.

Well, if you prefer sleeping in liminal space, replacing torn sheets or mattresses shouldn't really be a problem, especially once the jaunt is over.

I guess. I can portal over just fine. I just have to wait to get back, which isn't a problem. It's a little boring walking past the same mutant sandwich shop for the tenth time.
