I'm still sorting out the details, but at the least, it's probably important to find out what this place really is. It's hard to believe this room was designed for dances...

I did not think about the watch idea, and could not confirm it without closer or more observation, however, it is certainly a machine of some sort, you are correct.

The thought of a watch is an interesting one.

I wonder what's keeping it going, if it really is a machine... Seems like something this big is going to need something equally big to keep things turning, you know? And it can't just start moving whenever there's a party, there were all those lights that were on when we got here, right?

Yes. This place did function when we arrived, however, until we entered the ballroom, I did not see any people other than our company. There might have been those who arrived to start whatever machine it is in motion.

Hmmm... There were all those closed doors when we arrived, weren't there? Maybe one of them leads to somewhere interesting...

Possible. You did not happen to see how they were locked, did you? I admit to not paying too much attention to them.

There must be a way to get from the part of this place we are in to another part.

Hm. I will take a look at them when I have a chance. I have some skill in lock picking, however, I do not have my tools. I might have to improvise.
