Jules and me - and also Kitty, sort of? - are from a version of modern Earth. 21st century, most people here'd fit right in, y'know? Except for the three of us, we got kidnapped by the Fair Folk.
Anyone here familiar with stories about them? Not like Disney Tinkerbell bullshit, actual old like-- Irish stories about how you'd fall into their world, eat their food and then when you get out a hundred years have passed and when the protag realises this he just sort of crumbles into dust?
...might have mixed a few stories together there but basically that. That's us, that's a Changeling here. Except during our time being caught in Faerie, by Faeries, we got tortured to the shithouse and managed to escape again. And now we just sort of pretend we're normal when we're all weird as shit and semi-insane.
