In order to put the Traveler in the driver's seat, you need to be able to reach out to them through the network and pull them forward. Which, uh, technically means you have to go into their mind. Luckily, you don't have to read their thoughts to find the them in there and then you just... sort of pull them forward. Like you were sharing memories with someone who hasn't mastered the skill, so instead of passing the memory to you, they sort of... hold it out and you take it.
