Hey, so, uh... [be cool be cool] not to harsh anyone's magic school vibe or anything - how's that whole 'dark wizard' thing working out for you guys anyway? - but I've just got a uh, just a... teeny tiny question about something that you know, may have been overlooked in the whole mission statement thing that I feel like is probably worth asking a couple questions about. Nothing big, nothing big, just. You know. Wondering what the hell is up with the room full of corpses. Anyone got a uh - any ideas about that? They like [oh hey is it possible for a telepathic voice to become a bit strained and squeakier? he is sounding more and more wigged out the longer he rambles]-- spares, or something?

...You know, I can't -- I can't think of any sort of witty repartee for that. Well played, I guess. [Except he sounds... distinctly uncomfortable about it.]

It's something that was done to them, not something they chose. Being able to create bodies in Liminal Space lets them avoid having to devour people here and elsewhere.

[Not that certain of them don't make do if they have to, but that's probably not something Cassandra should be mentioning to this person. She's not sure she should be telling him that this was done to them, either - she's not sure it's her place - but it's probably better that he knows that those with the Atma virus, or at least those here, aren't acting out of malice.

Granted, she doesn't care so much about this man's comfort as she does not making life harder for Lupa and the others.]

Yeah I guess I'm just more used to, ah... different uses, I guess. You know, necromancers and stuff. Weird how that works out, huh? [if it were in person, those last few words would be mumbled together into a very bad transition to change the topic. but it's mental, so while they're quiet and subdued they don't really blend as awkwardly. the things you have to rapidly adapt to when you find out everyone's apparently been growing spare bodies in the background, right?] Anyway so like - they gotta be human? Some guy said 'sentient', so are geese outta the picture or is that just down to personal choice?

...If things like geese were sufficient, you probably would have found a room full of those. [She pauses.] Or not found any, since they could make other food out of Liminal stuff and not have to worry about keeping a backup stock.

Uh, you know -- stuff. Like... undead, and a lil' disintegration here and there. Stuff to do with souls and all that, you know?
