For those who joined us last time we were in Liminal Space, that was a Jaunt. We go in, blend in as well as we can [and some irritation bleeds into her "voice" because THAT didn't happen] do whatever we're supposed to do, and get called back here. To "help" with the investigation, some of us think we're locals of that world for the duration of the Jaunt. Not all Jaunts will be like this, so be ready for anything when we have another one. But the basics are the same-- do what you can, don't give up.

For those who just joined us, you'll know what I'm talking about sooner or later. It's probably best for now to get used to the psychic network, because it will be very useful to you during a Jaunt. Find a veteran traveler who can help. Except for Garrett-- he'd sooner insult you than give you the time of day.

If you have questions for me specifically and you want to keep it off the network, I'm over at the over-elaborate wedding cake. Otherwise, using the network is fine.

Don't think of it as a "win". We did what we had to do-- there was no battle.

But we did accomplish what we were supposed to do. If we're not forced immediately into Liminal Space and sent to another Jaunt, then it's a good sign.

It depends. If we fail in a Jaunt, we get pulled straight into Space, and then into another jaunt. If the portal to Liminal Space is just open and waiting for us, then we've succeeded.

No, I'm not. And no one else around here is, so it's best you get used to the idea already. But since you seem to understand that there are higher powers, then let's just say that some higher powers are responsible for all this, including our presence here.

And yet it might cause us some problems too. Remy might not be able to keep up, and some of us might end up trying to run herd on all of the newcomers.
