I'm pretty sure there's different ways of doing it.
I think the most important to me is keeping track of what part of you is the most dominant in any given situation. Like, in the situation that is current at the very time you're doing something or thinking something. Otherwise you get confused.
But some people work better if they just merge it and hang in the middle.
