A question about handling fae...

How broad is the definition of "fae food" that we're not supposed to eat?

...on a related note, are there any consequences for, hypothetically, sleeping with a member of the fae....

Er, I suppose first I should say I'm glad I'm not in the Elsewhere right now. I think. I'm pretty sure. As strange as this studium is, I'm pretty sure it's not actually a fae dimension.

As for the other concern I have... what do you mean, possessing?

From what I have gathered, that is what happens when we Infiltrate. Half-Infiltration is merely a knowing possession.

Ah.... so when we're infiltrating, we're... possessing them... hm. That makes sense, but... if you're half-infiltrating, does that mean your infiltrating half remembers you being there in their body and mind with them, even after you leave?

From what I can gather, they remember what we say and what we did in their bodies, but nothing involving the Network or our private thoughts. So mayhap it depends if we let on about our presence by speech or action.

I see... how strange. It must be jarring, for them, if they realize someone else was in their body for that time... but if they have no access to the Network or our thoughts, then I suppose our "cover" is still safe.

Ugh... something doesn't sit right with me, about possessing these folk... why must the Arcana do this?

It is. I was de-infiltrated in Harrogate and sustained several conversations out loud as a Traveler. I am sure it was very disconcerting for Agent Delaney, although given the events in Harrogate it was easy enough to pass myself off as a spirit.

And I do not think anyone fully understands why the Arcana do things who is not one of them.

Poor man. To think he was possessed by a rogue spirit... hopefully it did not leave him with too many lasting worries.

Twelve... the Arcana are a frustrating puzzle. Would that I could simply find a way to overcome their control of this place...

His world view was already irrevocably altered by the presence of true spirits. I think being possessed by one was minor in comparison.

I think most of us wish to. The problem is finding more than three Travelers who will agree about anything.

Mm, Fortune's mechanism seems to oft take strong-willed individuals. That likely does not help.

Likely so... ah. I suppose the willful are the most useful pieces, in a way. Providing you can earn that will and loyalty.
