How broad is the definition of "fae food" that we're not supposed to eat?

...on a related note, are there any consequences for, hypothetically, sleeping with a member of the fae....

Euphemisms aside, unless you're an incubus, giving oral doesn't actually count as eating.

But trying to bang the fae can get you dead if it's the wrong type of fae. What's the deal with yours?

Well, he doesn't seem like the type to eat his mates, and if he's a virgin, I'm the Easter Bunny, so you're probably safe as long as you don't say anything that could be construed as a promise.

Well, I'll be glad for that, then. I'm generally wary of making promises to beings like that.

....what's an "Easter Bunny?"

It's a story from my Earth. A giant rabbit that hides chocolate for children on Easter. One of the safer go-to figures to reference if you're looking for something that doesn't actually exist.

Oh, I see! So 'Easter' is a children's holiday? Is it meant to hone their skills of investigation, by seeking out the chocolate?

...that seems like a very good idea, actually. Mayhaps I should introduce the concept to folk at home.

No, it's actually a pretty significant religious holiday for my faith. It just happens to also coincide with the start of spring, so some older traditions got mixed in and sanitized.

Oh. How odd... hm. Mayhaps not something to replicate callously, then... though the idea of such hunts is one I would like to introduce. The kits could learn much from that- a good way to teach them scouting and searching, about being observant.

I have much left to learn about other realms, it seems.

That's one word for it. Our history is full of mugging other cultures for their traditions. Also their grammar, which explains everything you'll ever need to know about English.

I don't think anyone would be offended if you borrowed hunting for chocolate, though.

Hunting for chocolate seems harmless enough. I like the idea... assuming we're ever freed of this place.
