Since it looks like we're headed to a potential battleground, I'd like to offer my services as a weapon designer and maker.

This is something I made myself, but there's no need to make it yours with multiple forms.

Well, I can help with that. I've seen a variety of weapons back home, so I'd say I have a pretty good chance at knowing how to work with yours.

Including thinking of additional forms.

My armor gives my punches fire, and I've got a sword I can use, but there's nothing that I've found that can't be gotten rid of by punching it enough.

[Though it may include a hidden place for a hidden knife, but that's fine right? It won't make the pistol any harder to use.]

Well, I would say the world I come from has pretty high tech. Gotta be, with our foes constantly testing our limits.

You'll eventually come across a foe that your fists can't deal with. Though having fire is handy... got any way to add more elements to your armor?

Depends on the form. Cross-Z Magma does fire, Great Cross-Z is like... general energy? Looks a little electrical but it's not. Could use some of the other Fullbottles but I don't have them, Sento does. And I prefer my own stuff.

Normally, I'm not someone who needs physical weapons, but the idea of a transforming device is an intriguing one, especially for those Jaunts where strange firearms might be less conspicuous than spells.

Excellent! I would be keen to see how compatible my metallurgy enchantments would be with other methods of weaponsmithing.

I want to combine a spell focus - like my scythe - but with the ability to turn into a great sword.

...And no, great swords aren't a good focus. The weight of them is all wrong. [Her tone is playful with that comment.]

That should be enough to replicate it. May not be as good as the original, but hey, it'll be similar.

Well, with so many different Travelers and skills, I bet more elements could be added by making stuff suitable to you. At least, it's good to keep in mind, even if you'd desire no change now.

Having a weapon in store for situations where magic doesn't work out is always a good plan, in my opinion. And I can definitely make something that's also good for more stealthy use... or at least part of the weapon, depending on what you'd want.

I admit, I'm curious to see how the weapons I'm used to can evolve with different abilities coming to play.

I guess. Guns feel like they're cheating, though. Anyone can use a gun.

That's not a bad idea. I have some experience from other lives using rifles, and I could likely figure my way around a smaller firearm as well, if that would be easier to make "stealthy".

The Travelers are full of teachers, I'm sure. I myself use a shotgun attached to my weapon, so that's not much of help with smaller firearms.

Each of us has their own way of fighting... but you know, sometimes having projectiles on you might turn the tides.
