I don't know why I don't expect these by now... For those who are newer to this, there was an earlier Jaunt that left a number of us with a tendency towards prophetic dreams and/or nightmares. Most often, they concern the Jaunt we're either on or about to be sent on in some way, although not always.

This particular dream featured a demonic frog squatting on a beach. It opened its mouth to let the ocean rush in, which caused the frog to grow progressively larger until all anyone could see was the swollen, stretched out frog. The frog eventually exploded, which in turn sent the ocean waters exploding everywhere, at which point the dream ended.

It's... very mythical, if nothing else.

That reminds me of an indigenous Australian story, actually, but I can't really imagine how it's relevant besides that.

Only in certain instances, and not directly. I'd say most of us who came back with this ability get the dreams every month or so.

We don't.

We've been sent there twice. The second time, the Arcana went so far as to make the preceding Liminal a map of the place, presumably because they knew enough of us would recognize it to be able to warn the rest where we were going. They also drastically scaled back our ability to use the network or Liminal skills because the first time they sent us to Harrogate, one of the eldritch entities connected to that world cut us all off from both.

Taking away the only tricks they give us to help? Ja, that sounds like them.

I think they were more interested in preventing another eldritch entity from getting a foothold into Liminal Space the way the first one did. That one's sigil kept showing up for several Jaunts after, until the Arcana sent us to a world where they could find a means of getting rid of it themselves.

So these eldritch things - they're just as powerful as the Arcana?

Powerful, but with their own agendas. One of them managed to kill one of the Arcana at some point, although we don't know the details.

Learning too much about them tends to be a corrupting influence. They can and will subvert the wills of those who learn too much.

Well, my Persona took on the same-ish look and one of the skills of his involves him taking a massive breathe and that makes him grow noticeably.

Not that it has anything to do with swallowing an entire ocean.
