And... not really. I de-infiltrated Alcuin last week because he knows space medicine and I thought he could help figure out the whole bioweapon thing... but then the Empire showed up above Phobos and he... he wasn't there anymore. Like we have a bond from the Jaunt where he was my Pogemon and I couldn't feel it. And when Paix II, the guy he was Infiltrating as, showed up to my hanger a little later he... I mean he was cute and blond and French but he wasn't my Alcuin.
When Alcuin was a little kid, these guys from over the border raided his village and basically wiped it out. He only survived because Anafiel was there visiting and he had a horse and at the first scream he put Alcuin in front of him in the saddle and started riding hell for leather.
So like. I get why this would send him out of ambit. Especially since the two Jaunts before were pretty hard on him. I just... I feel like it's my fault, I guess.
