Vision Time Again [Third day of the week]
This is becoming something of a habit, it seems. Randolph Lyall, here, and not only do I have some general information that may be important, I've had another vision that I probably ought to share before it decides to distract me a dozen times today and make even more people ask me if I'm all right.
First things first, though. Gale is infiltrated here, I'm sure some of you saw him, as my "partner". Only he isn't actually my partner, he's a pogemon like Lethid is only with a very good disguise, here to research the bond between humans and pogemon for the council back in their world. I can only think that's important in some way.
Somewhat less interesting, but second, there is definitely a walkabout going on at the moment. It appears to be taking place back in Sarmatia, where we sort of took over the government of the werewolves and vampires.
[He doesn't share more than that, though there's a hint of embarrassment and confusion about the thoughts, there. He hurries on.]
Anyway, the vision. It was of fighting food. Literally, food made into... I suppose monsters like the pogemon, and fighting in the streets with the slammer pairs. Then the clouds open up and there's a castle in the sky, with some sort of winged creature on the ramparts. I do believe that may be what we're here to do something about. At the least, we probably ought to keep an eye out for food-shaped pogemon, for now, and keep watch for a stormy day.
Finally... er, has anyone else done this infiltrating-while-still-yourself thing? Does anyone know, is it still possible to go into liminal space? I'm a little afraid to try it, lest I wind up damaging the pogemon I'm sharing mind-space with at the moment. But the full moon is coming up very soon here, and I'd rather not test whether infiltrating like this keeps the werewolf part of me at bay.

[Yup. Hamburgmons. It still hasn't stopped being ridiculous.]
The other Arcana playing is Hanged Man.
no subject
[Naoki's quiet for a while before continuing.] For all Hanged Man's not one of the terrible ones... action's going to work out better than inaction. Order and inaction aren't necessarily opposed, so inaction will probably lead to chaos.
The trick's going to be keeping action from also leading to chaos.
no subject
A situation which...involves fighting sentient food. Apparently.
no subject
Or much of anything, really. It comes with the territory. In any case, not resolving things hits his 'stagnation and inaction' points, so whatever Emperor Emperor's after, it requires taking some kind of action, but an orderly one.

[What even Earth? Newport wasn't like this.]

Our Earth isn't this ridiculous, no. Not even in the 90s.

[Here is someone who is both sympathetic of suffering from such visions...And is taking this seriously as well.]
In any case, if they cause any trouble, then we will need to make sure that any civilians are quickly protected and lead away from the battlefield. We may need maps of this city as a precaution, should the battle rage outside of this stadium.
Lyall...What kind of being was this winged creature in the castle? Friend or foe?
no subject
They're not precisely premonitions. They're of the future, but they're always quite literal. I haven't ever seen anything that wasn't exactly a picture of what may happen. What I see can usually be prevented, but I haven't the faintest idea how we might prevent that.
As for friend or foe... I can't actually say. There aren't any feelings associated with it. It looks unfriendly, but looks have been known to be deceiving.
no subject
I see... You are...more fortunate than some to be able to prevent them.
Still, having a castle descend from the sky... Perhaps it is some kind of space craft?
no subject
Oh, the castle itself is stationary. I'm only seeing it through some kind of portal. I can share the memory with you directly, if you want to experience what I saw. It may give more insight if someone else looked at it, too.

Do you think there may be another portal about to open up? Or possibly already has been opened, if these food based creatures are coming from the Pogemon world.
[[and then a small, hesitant pause]]
[[Private // Level 2]]
Is it possible for Pogemon to enter liminal?
[[he's already worried about what will happen with Garren when they leave the world...]]
no subject
[Private]
During the Jaunt, probably not. We can't bring infiltrators with us except under specific circumstances. They usually don't even see the portals we open. Which is why I'm concerned about Lethid and had hoped someone else might have tried it, first.
no subject
The one currently active is closely monitored, almost guarded. If anything strange were coming through it, the Institute likely would have been notified by now.
[Private]
But afterwards, some like Ryo, do become Travelers with us.
...Is there anyway to make that more likely to happen?

[Shuu's disdain and disbelief comes through the network loud and clear.]
If genre conventions continue, I doubt they will do much permanent damage. But I suppose a wary eye can't hurt.
[He doesn't sound very concerned, though.]

[There's a startled break in the message, and a moment later, a more hasty reply:]
All right, well, they do pack a punch at least! I was just accosted by one!
