Vision Time Again [Third day of the week]
This is becoming something of a habit, it seems. Randolph Lyall, here, and not only do I have some general information that may be important, I've had another vision that I probably ought to share before it decides to distract me a dozen times today and make even more people ask me if I'm all right.
First things first, though. Gale is infiltrated here, I'm sure some of you saw him, as my "partner". Only he isn't actually my partner, he's a pogemon like Lethid is only with a very good disguise, here to research the bond between humans and pogemon for the council back in their world. I can only think that's important in some way.
Somewhat less interesting, but second, there is definitely a walkabout going on at the moment. It appears to be taking place back in Sarmatia, where we sort of took over the government of the werewolves and vampires.
[He doesn't share more than that, though there's a hint of embarrassment and confusion about the thoughts, there. He hurries on.]
Anyway, the vision. It was of fighting food. Literally, food made into... I suppose monsters like the pogemon, and fighting in the streets with the slammer pairs. Then the clouds open up and there's a castle in the sky, with some sort of winged creature on the ramparts. I do believe that may be what we're here to do something about. At the least, we probably ought to keep an eye out for food-shaped pogemon, for now, and keep watch for a stormy day.
Finally... er, has anyone else done this infiltrating-while-still-yourself thing? Does anyone know, is it still possible to go into liminal space? I'm a little afraid to try it, lest I wind up damaging the pogemon I'm sharing mind-space with at the moment. But the full moon is coming up very soon here, and I'd rather not test whether infiltrating like this keeps the werewolf part of me at bay.

The one currently active is closely monitored, almost guarded. If anything strange were coming through it, the Institute likely would have been notified by now.

But afterwards, some like Ryo, do become Travelers with us.
...Is there anyway to make that more likely to happen?

[Private]
I don't know. I think if he's bonded with you as an investigator that does seem like it might make it more likely, as it is. Ryo chose Hajime as an investigator, as well.

Garren's already lost one partner... losing another would be devastating for him.
[[There's a small hesitation]]
There are enough similarities between us... I don't want to be another.

Perhaps... since there is a bond made, a literal bond, it will be less likely to be broken. It may be wise to tell him exactly who you are and what will happen once the Jaunt ends, though... as much as normally I would advise against it, to preserve our anonymity, in this case there is precedent. There are already portals to other worlds here, so adding one more to the mix won't break his worldview.
And he deserves to know what he's signing up for, regardless.
Private
It seems sort of cruel, really. Arriving here, making these partnerships and then leaving....

...and I've encountered one of the ones around. [[there's a mix of frustration and worry in that]]

Or you could just wait and hope. But if it helps, I don't know if there are any other examples of someone making a bond like this with someone within the world, and then not bringing them back, when investigating. Only infiltrators seems to leave those bonds behind.

I'm not good at just waiting. [[or hoping, for that matter. One of the things that frustrated him deeply with the Arcana that had claimed him as similar.]]
