Okay. Well. The idea, basically, is that the people on the Cornu were refugees from everywhere who got on the boat in the Steppingstone Islands.

Anyway, there was a huge-ass storm, all the crew but Drizzt the cabin boy were swept overboard and drowned and since our mermaid school was there, but couldn't save the crew because none of us knew Song of Breath, we're escorting everybody to where they need or want to be in order to make up for it. And we're at the island so you humans can resupply before we continue on.
