I'm stuck. I'm stuck in liminal space. I-- I don't know how to get out and there's this awful music and I keep sinking in the water or whatever it is and can someone come and get me? Please?

[Guess what. Jolie is back from being torn apart by a Stricken, and she still doesn't know how to make portals. She may also kind of sound like she might be trying not to cry. Oops.]

[in a moment, there's a portal opening near Jolie. A man steps out onto the oobleck sea, and immediately starts walking so as not to fall in. They twist their head around, looking for the girl they'd just been talking to]

[Jolie is perched, sitting and hugging her knees, on the center of the ship's steering wheel to his right. Her tentacles are back where they belong, on her back, made of shadow-stuff, and coiling around restless but close to her back, like an ever-moving cloak. She isn't facing him, so she doesn't notice his appearance quite yet.]

[Huh,. Those tentacles are...interesting, even if the sight of moving shadows doesn't bring up the best of memories. He skitters around them, and comes to sit next to her.]

It isn't as bad in the personal rooms. There are a few of them still open - if you can get to one, wait there, and one of us will come find you.

I saw a door back on one of the ship mast things... I'll try and get there.

Do you need anything? Clean clothes, a pillow to scream into?

Clean clothes... would probably be a good thing. Yeah.

[Mostly she just feels gross and awful and maybe clean clothes would help? She doesn't even know. She's never died before.]

There's pillows in the Workshop I can scream into, though, I would probably be okay there. I just need to find the right door, I guess.

I'm pretty sure I know where that one is, unless it moved since last time I was out in that muck. Hold on, I'll come find you.

[And sure enough, a couple of minutes later, there's a tense-looking brunette wading through the oobleck sea, arms waving over her head in an attempt to catch Jolie's attention.]

[And she'll start tromping across the not-quite-water, hugging one arm and with her tentacles restless but keeping close to her back and shoulders. Imri will probably find her before she makes it to the Workshop doors, but she'll be nearly there.]

[Imri dows indeed find her before she makes it, running across the ooblek himself - he pauses uncertainly at the sight of her tentacles, but only for a moment, before he runs up to her and takes her hand, tugging in the direction of the workshop.]

Come on, it's this way! [He's shouting a little to be heard over the sound of the storm and the discordant music notes.]
