His Grace, King Robb Stark and I are feeling ourselves once more, we are in Liminal Space. May we perchance receive assistance on joining the rest of you? I do not have control over portals. This place may be of interest as well, Liminal Space normally holds some clue as to what is happening. Should anyone wish, I can share what I see inside your minds.

The Grasper... I do not know if it can be defeated. It would have their entire race enslaved as monsters.

[He recounts their first meeting verbatim, including what he overheard from the others speaking to him, and any sort of noticeable reaction Don had to what the others said.]

... and that brings us to the present conversation I had with him. I asked him, outright, whether giving him another name instead of one that was already being used would make him happier. He said, "another name would be at least one too many". Isn't that strange? So I asked him if giving him another one anyway would offend him, and he replied, "your gifts are yours to give", and then added, "no thing offends me." And then, as I mentioned earlier, I asked him whether it was truly a ship that brought him to that atoll. Soon after he answered, I thanked him for his time, and I left for the Harbinger.

He sounds more like one of the fey than a human. But I don't know if they have those here - elves. Fairies. Whatever they are locally.

... I think the odds are good that he's either a Trump or associated with them. Specifically the Fool. There's a binary emphasis on nothingness or zero as important in his conversation, and he implies several times that he doesn't have a normal lifespan or physical form.
