Lupa, checking in. Confirmed infiltrators that I know are Gale, Malik and Zoe. Cassandra doesn't appear to be present at all. I can check for others if I know who to look for.

Also... I'm a child as well. It's strange. Even moreso, Cerberus is separate. The obvious risks appear to have been nullified, at least for the moment, but it seems we need to learn more about Pogemon as quickly as possible in order to fit in.

Flying! An aerial view would be really helpful! I haven’t seen any maps being given out yet, though I am sure there must be some around here somewhere. It looks like a pretty big city.

….Okay. Not exactly something to worry about, then. They’ve got to have a news station around here somewhere. It would help to know what kind of situation we’ve walked into. [Dropped into? Dreamed into? Whatever.] Is it just me, or does everything in the local area seem centered around this tournament right now? Is this an annual thing?

For the past couple years, yeah. The Pogemon haven't been in the human world but for a few years--and they like fighting each other, they think it's fun. So they'll all show up here and try to figure out who's the strongest, it's a big sport thing. All the kids are excited.

[Han his his young, child-like appearance, since he's investigating as a slammer. He decides it's a good thing to touch base and let the others know what he's up to while he's here.]

I'm a bit late, but I guess I should check in. Normally, I'm a lot older than this, but I'm investigating as a slammer. I'm still going by Han, though.

[He looks over to his partner, the ape-like Chewie expy, who he really has started to get to like. There's a feeling of familiarity about him, and it makes Han feel more comfortable.]

This is my partner...he seems to be a version of someone I know back home. Jaina, my daughter, said that kind of thing happens sometimes. Expies of familiar people, I mean. I think it's a good thing this time...I'm getting to like him.

Um, I haven't found out much yet, but I'll pass along anything I do learn.

The last time I was made to explore anything, a dracolich became involved.

Then it’s not like we need to be sure to train up and win the tournament.  It has to be something different.  There’s no military threat – or at least not an obvious one other than the incursion of foreign species – but no one seems to be immediately concerned about this.  Especially if it has been going on for years now.  We’re missing something.  We need more information.

Whoever is good at electronics – we’re going to need intel.  What sorts of things have been showing up in the news lately.  Things the general populace seem concerned about.  Big events within the last five years that might show a trend in behavior.  Did everybody else find some money and ID in their pockets?  We need to establish a base of operations. A rental house or something might be best – a hotel is going to notice a ton of teenagers and adults trooping in and out of a single room, and we’re not going to be able to manage a month or more’s worth of pay for a room.  Not to mention food and other expenses if people can’t do that handy creating food thing they were doing in liminal space.

Modern is what I've heard being used to describe worlds that are far ahead of our own with technology. Their technology is in some ways like magic, studied as deeply as any wizard would their craft. It is simply different.

I think so. My clothes have pretty much stayed the same. The jacket I was wearing is a lighter color than before, but I guess I fit in all right.

We're always missing something when we first show up to a place. This is the first time I've known this much about a place on arrival. In any case, 'years' seems to be plural but not by much - the Pogemon world's only been connected to this one for two, maybe three years.

Most of us can just stay in Liminal Space, which saves money and keeps things inconspicuous as long as you have a good portal point to start with. I don't think you can make food outside of Liminal, but I'm pretty new to making food in the first place, so I could be wrong.

I don't think we're here just for the tournament, but the tournament could help us find out why we are here.

Interesting that they've settled in so quickly. I think historically there's been a lot more fighting about things like that back home.
