[walkabout]
Are you fucking kidding me.
[hello, Walkabout. Looks like Melissa is not terribly happy with where they've landed! Well, she's not super happy under normal circumstances, but even less so now.]
...alright, fine. Who else wound up here?

[understatement of the century but fuck you if you think you're getting more.]
For the record, the main population of this town are vampires and werewolves and their corvigers. You'll want to construct a story about why you know this and why that knowledge doesn't make you a threat. Since you can't pretend to be a part of the native population, I would suggest either pretending you are a tourist who knows nothing or saying you're my corviger.
[yeah the fact that she was a vampire probably didn't come up in their previous conversation but it's SURE GOING TO NOW.]

[ Have a basic reply for an understatement. ]
Being a tourist so far seems to be good enough. People generally just roll their eyes and don't expect you to know anything. [ It may not apply here as much as it does in his own world though. ] Your corviger?
[ WELL THIS IS INTERESTING. ]

I'm here. Cassandra.
[And that introduction is not a promising start, either. Cassandra has never been all that Good With People, especially people who are already angry.]
no subject
Hey. You been here before?
no subject
There is a time and a place for everything, and also Cassandra isn't very good at being a smartass.]Yes.

[She remembers Melissa, and that Melissa had disappeared midway through the Jaunt and Thorne had been upset, but she hadn't been able to bring herself to ask Thorne what had happened.]

[Those have dates on them, right? But they've been to enough places since that she's not sure she remembers which dates they were here for the last time.]

[yeah that's the main problem melissa's having too.]

We don't have to be a part of the filming. I think the point is more likely to either stop them or make sure they don't find out about the more supernatural things going on.

Part of me wants to object to the deception but I suppose that would undermine our very purpose in being here. Do you have any suggestions as to how we should go about this?
