[The first memory comes on the network partway through the first day of the week - the entire thing is underlaid with an anxious air, Kinji's uncertainty as to how it will pan out, and there's a profound sense of relief as Arke rushes off into the distance before it cuts off.

[There's radio silence for a few hours on the video front from Kinj, until eventually a second memory comes through, and while Kinji's not terribly familiar with her there are no doubt others who will recognise Thorne. Kinji's emotions are a lot more stable this time, apart from a very abrupt dip into panic when he gets offered immortality, no thank you.

This memory ends up being quite a sight longer than the first, but far more informative for it; thank you, Selene, for your generosity in this endeavor.]

I don't know what you're planning on doing about the 'worthy mortals' thing, but I think a bunch of us could probably be passed off as that, if you want? Prometheus isn't an awful titan at least - not classically. I've never met the guy. But Selene and Helios... huh. Yeah, I can see why they'd be pissed.

I'm still around for backup if you need it. I've been mostly trying to help people out... and avoid this one drunk Heraclide who keeps trying to fight me.

I'm gonna put it on record that I'd rather we try an' keep it t'Infiltrators, if that's how we're gonna be doin' it. Stick people who're gonna be 'round fer the long haul an' actually deal with the mess we leave 'em in power.

Ain't no worry there. Gettin' jumpy cos somethin' 'round here ain't the same's back home ain't too uncommon. Hell, I did it myself back when I got here.

... We might be able to, though it might take time. I can get a read on someone's general strength, including supernatural strength. I can't do it super often, but if you point me at someone you want me to check, I can do it.

It sounds like Zeus needs to go.

Tower would want the Olympians to fail. And Chariot... would want the Achaians to move forward.

If we just wanted to make sure the Arcana lose, we'd need to restore the Olympians. But that doesn't sound like a good solution.

I don't know if the Titans would be an improvement. But, if we wanted to support a group of mortals becoming gods...

Ruining a world to spite these Arcana seems like a bad idea. The gods can't do their jobs and the titans made sure of it, neither set should be in power. Do you have people picked for taking their jobs and doing it right?

Not yet. But I'm ready to start looking.

... And it's a very bad idea. It's just something I had earlier conversations about, so I wanted to mention it.

I spoke to a native woman, one of the .. Epigone? Who seemed to want to bring an end to the age of heros and gods altogether. Is there a way to put this place into a natural balance instead of relying on anything godlike? I'm afraid if I do it I'll miss and the moon will go flying off and hit another planet or something.

It's worth looking into, but we should definitely be careful with the moon.

Yeah. I mean, jeez, it's not like we don't know how awful gods can get, but eating your wife? Making some guy get his liver eaten because he wanted people to be warm at night?

It's crossing the line. Gods and spirits seem to have a different set of standards... but even the Arcana don't eat one another.

Have you talked to any gods, demigods, or immortals yet?

Well, I mean, he did learn 'eat your loved ones' from a pro. It was his father's reaction to the possibility of being overthrown.

The real question here, in terms of whether the Titans are worth trusting overall, is whether they plan on sticking Cronos back in charge. It sounds like not, but it's worth finding out in general.

This place deserves better than a temperamental manslut running the show, but reverting to his father would definitely be a step backward.

Okay, jeez, what is it with Greek gods and eating people? I dunno who this Cronos guy is, but he kind of sounds like he might be a dick.

... hey, is Malik around? Does anybody know if he's got books on this stuff in his library? I mean, it's probably a long shot and someone who isn't me should probably do the reading if we want it to get done in time, but...

If this is about the Arcana eliminating rivals, bringing down the Olympians and the Titans and dropping the responsibility for keeping the world turning square in the laps of a bunch of people who aren't prepared for it is probably exactly what they want.

Then we have to make sure either that the people who are prepared, win -- or that the people we want to win are prepared.

I haven't spoken to anyone I'd want to back for world domination.

I don't think we have time to prepare a bunch of new gods to keep the world running. But if we can find a few of the old guard who'd be open to working with the up-and-comers, that might keep things stable.

What did you guys even do when I was stuck underground for two weeks?

I climbed Mount Olympus.

I was stuck in these stupid caves and I couldn't even reach the network. So I figured I couldn't portal either. So all I did was wander around and eat my emergency jerky and kick monsters in the face.

At least until these guys found me and even then we had to go all the way down to visit some weird people before we could come back up.
