Uh. Hey, folks. Coupla things ... kinda connected, I dunno.

First, anyone heard anything about this missing band? Symulakrum. Sounds like half of the fuss is them goin' missing last night...

Second ... 'cause of that ... there was an empty spot in the schedule. And someone [not naming any names Maria] signed my ass up for it. ...Dunno how she pulled it off.

But ... yeah, I can sing. Pretty good, if I say so myself. I've got a bunch of tapes 'n some of my music shit in the car, but I came here for a break, right? ... 'Casey' me not 'Kanji' me. That ain't gonna cut it for a big show like this.
...So. This is gonna be a hell of a rush, but anyone up for getting a band together?

If you're in need of a manager, I can help to guide you through it. Someone was mentioning earlier that they've gained proficiency with a guitar, as well... If nothing else, the two of you may be able to progress as a duo.

I don't know how WELL I can sing - the people who applauded me were my Anchor and someone who flirts with everyone at base - but the offer's open.

... did they really name their troupe Simulacrum? As in, an imitation, a copy, a semblance? If I remember correctly, by the late 1800s, it had taken on a negative connotation as... an item without the original's qualities or substance.

If you require a composer, I could assist, although... for a venue like this, I would need to interface a record or the like so that it would be temporally accurate. Most of what I am hearing now is complete garbage. [Guess who got stuck next to the punk band.]

I will gladly assist in seeing what the divinity of this world can bring. I do have some talent in singing.

If you like, I can lend my voice as back up! I know all the popular songs of this particular decade, and could also offer flute and harp and bass guitar! I knew of it when we arrived here, and I think it should not be too difficult to obtain such an instrument. Would that be of interest?
