Oh festering boils! Why is counting days so hard in Liminal? I think that since we’re here in a world like this, I’m going to need some advice.

So, my courses have come unexpectedly and I know worlds like this have ways to manage the bleeding that my world never would have thought of. The problem is that I don’t really know much about these tampons and things.

I know that most of you are from worlds more like this one than mine is so could somebody give me advice? At this rate I’m going to have to wash the rags before I can get back into Liminal on my own and I really don’t want to try to answer the questions it’d bring up if someone saw.

[This, here, is a livestream. Yakumo is backstage, and the Traveller's makeshift band is currently playing.

There's a feeling of creeping numbness around the livestream and a sense of urgency, but Yakumo is calm -- albeit frustrated, a deep simmering anger roiling under his thoughts. The world is almost operating in slow motion around him as the Mark on his chest burns, a Moment of Clarity having activated. There's a stagehand struggling with a broken speaker, a harried manager flicking through a handful of papers, Tachi in front of him turning to stare...]

One of these people has sedative darts. I am... not in a position to be able to question any of them about it.

[There's an odd, lethargic sense of fuzziness that's weighing the livestream down, even as he bites the message out. Someone has obviously learned about the sedatives first-hand.]

Don't turn your back to them, or any others: it seems the enemy's position runs deeper than we thought. [Have you ever watched a livestream through someone as they're falling asleep? Because Yakumo's eyes are starting to droop, and when he shakes his head the world just rolls dizzyingly. He's forced to take a step forward to try steadying himself, a hand reaching out to grip the first solid surface it comes in contact with. If it's Tachi, he hopes his grip is tight enough to hurt.] Watch yourselves.

[Early in the day - well before her own abduction - Allura's voice comes across the network, the pattern of her thought-speech quick, but oddly lacking inflection.]

Given recent events, I think it's time we work out just which of our patrons is hosting this Jaunt, and whether or not we can allow their preferences to dictate how we go about freeing those who've been captured.

Does anyone have any insight into which of the Arcana are playing this round?

Or into the security measures we're likely to see at the detainment facility?

Ah, if I could possibly get somebody's attention?

I was... briefly sidelined for a bit, and when I came back to Liminal Space, it seemed most of the people here had already moved out on a Jaunt. Is there something I should be doing in a situation like this? I must admit I am a little, ah... confused at the moment. Perhaps I could be watching over something for somebody if worst comes to worst?

Okay, I have all three Star Wars movies on... something called VHS. And I've found the machine to play them. So the plan is to watch them today. Find out what's in them, exactly.

Hey, it's day two and Liminal Space changed already. I think we're really not meant to stay here for very long. After we finally got a chance to investigate together... I'm not sure who to blame for stuff like this.

[Ahem. He's a bit annoyed. Especially since he's busy rehearsing so his time with Korra is limited.]

About Liminal now... if you ever wanted to feel like a comic book character, now's your chance. I think I'll stay out of there for now.

Can we leave the immediate area of where any of us showed up safely?

And does anyone know or knows how to find out which direction would be best to head into if one wants to find the closest free wolf packs?

[When they arrived he figured that he would just stick with his pack and sometimes return to Liminal and it would be good, but he's already fed up with all the noise and all the humans. Plus he could really use some off-time from all this human-mind business. Just running with a wolf pack for a few days or more sounds perfect.

He just needs to find one and hope that it all works out.]

Hey, network-fu types. Anyone around who can zap Madoka back to her senses?

Not just because she gave everyone blanket permission before the jaunt started, that too, but... she was absolutely info-fishing at me. We may need to know what she knows, if we're gonna get shit done.

What she did say so far was that Audio Outcast's frontman is 'oddly persuasive' and they have a track record of getting away with things they really shouldn't. If this were home I'd call Artifact, but it isn't. [So they need more information, but it's definitely a rabbit hole worth diving down.]

Second ... 'cause of that ... there was an empty spot in the schedule. And someone [not naming any names Maria] signed my ass up for it. ...Dunno how she pulled it off.

But ... yeah, I can sing. Pretty good, if I say so myself. I've got a bunch of tapes 'n some of my music shit in the car, but I came here for a break, right? ... 'Casey' me not 'Kanji' me. That ain't gonna cut it for a big show like this.

There is to be some sort of competition. This is what some of the bands of warriors look like. [ He pointed to a poster on the wall of a biker. ] You may have seen them working in the clearing. It would be good to protect ourselves in similar leathers. It will be more difficult to blend in on this Jaunt. It seems everyone is human, with no strange powers.

I have found shops where we may purchase leathers. Most of it is inferior, but I can help you find something that will protect you. Meet me in the city. [ He unfolds a map of Santa Carlita and points to downtown. ]

...If you intend to ride the large carriage, get on it quickly. It does not wait.

I've never done this before, but there's a first time for everything.

It's about time to do a check-in to see who are investigating - or at least have an infiltrator persona. My name is Jean Kirstein and... I don't investigate very often.

Apparently, I arrived with an ID that says I'm 21. So I guess age up, or down, is normal in this Jaunt. I also got a surprise guitar and seem to know how to play it...? Anyone else had something like that happen to them?

I won't ask if anyone has an idea of what we're supposed to do, since it's so early on the Jaunt... but it's good to keep your eyes open for any information that seems important.
