inexecution: (Um...)

Doing that veteran thing...

Did anyone else notice the train seems to loop back on itself?

[That sudden psychic broadcast is brought to you with a great deal of excitement, because of course it is. For those new Travelers who didn't already get an introduction via Joscelin, welcome to the Psychic network! Confusion is to be expected. It's okay, Souji's got your back.]

And I saw some new faces while I was walking around, so, hello! This is probably confusing, but don't worry. You can ask pretty much anyone here for help, we're used to it by now. I'm Souji, by the way. [Well, one of them, anyway...] Don't worry. This is all perfectly normal. [...ish.]

[No, it's not. But it also doesn't matter. He simply catalogs the information for future reference. Everything he learns is going into his mental files, even the minor things. Can't very well be a good detective if you ignore the minor things.]

I have spoken to others about the nature of this place, though I admit to remaining curiosity of this network. Particularly how access to it has been imparted to those who previously possessed no ability of a psychic nature. [Near, could you please talk a little bit less like a robot?]

[Badly socialized teenagers unite? It probably says something bad that the closest thing Near had to a friend is also a guy that had once been two seconds from blowing his head off. And this was after they'd known one another for years.]

Not something anyone would volunteer to test, I imagine. [Even he wouldn't. Not that noble; he isn't risking his brain.]

[As any team-up with either of these two would be.]

Understandable, though unfortunate in that it closes off an avenue of investigation. [Yeah, Near is more about results, generally. But at least he has a line.] Well, no matter. I'm sure there are other theories to be explored.
