Ah, well. I guess this is how to make this thing work. Odd, but useful.

In any case, my name is Naoya. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to introduce myself, but there you are. I'm guessing that there won't be a lot of time on these 'Jaunts' for the meet and greet - not if we're intended to go solve some problem or another.

I do have some questions, however. First of all, is there a spare computer or a way to acquire one on one of these Jaunts? I deal with computers as part of my work, so it's a little strange not having them around. Secondly, is there anywhere I can plug in an electronic device? And possibly find some spare cords I can rewire... I'm not exactly counting on the voltage to be the same.

... And thirdly, does anyone have access to a dark room or possibly some ice that is not ice cream? This place is already giving me a headache, and I suspect it's only going to get worse.

I'll see what I can do. I doubt I'll be able to reach that server, and even if I could it won't help with the internet piece, though it'll restore some functionality to one of my devices. I somewhat doubt the veil between worlds is quite so... thin isn't quite the right word, but it's the easiest to understand.

If nothing else, though, I might be able to set up some simple programs for the intranet if we can use a machine to act as the server. Like a digital noticeboard.

Yeah, considering this is already an interdimensional space the rules are a little skewed to begin with. Only other one of those I've been to, I wasn't in long enough to worry about connectivity.

Already got a server room up and running. More programs on it won't be that much of a hardship, I don't think we have a whole lot other than some pictures of Naoto's cat. [It wouldn't be a network without stupid cat pictures.]

I'll take a look at it soon. Knowing me, I'll end up wanting to upgrade it five times, but I think what you've described will be fine for now if the intranet here really is that small.
