I can confirm that this is definitely Harrogate, though 123 years in the future, the year 2020.

Everyone themselves on the jaunt, check in here. [His acting skills from his overlay here the last time are being used to good effect, as he appears confident and energetic, hiding whatever fear and uncertainty he has about this place.] Who's investigating here, and who have you seen infiltrating? Is anyone themselves but with an infiltrator persona - and if so, what can you tell us of the current situation?

I'd also like to know who has memory restoration - we should coordinate who we turn back into themselves, starting with other people who know memory restoration, so we can affect the greatest number of people. And if you have any ideas of what we should ask people on the walkabout side of things, let me know - I'll likely be contacting them as soon as we start to have things organized and know what's going on over here.

I can help if anyone has more general questions about the customs, culture, or history of this place. Additionally, if you want to know if someone is around on the jaunt, but they're not responding to psychic hails, I can help - as long as they're within about sixty miles of here.

Before you ask, Eren's not here - investigating or infiltrating. He must be on walkabout. I'll try to bring you along when I contact the other side so you can talk to him, if he isn't infiltrating over there - I think I should be able to manage that.

[Though he's still not showing how scared he is, he's not hiding his anxiety as much around just Mikasa, nor the danger this place represents.] ...At least he's safer, over there.

[She is not buying his acting on the post above at all but then again, she feels like she is shattering into the tiniest pieces all over the ground, so... She shouldn't call anyone out on pretending to be more fine with this than they are. She is not fine at all.]

... He is safe on that side definitely and probably having a happy good life if he's infiltrating somewhere with Mei and Emperor watching over him.

[Considering the Liminal before pre-Harrogate was by them, she wouldn't be surprised if they are running the walkabout side of things. But fuck if she knows if it really works that way.]

If they are... there's nothing to be done about it. They're safe there, and we'll see then in about six weeks. I'm sorry, 'kasa, but with what's likely to be happening here... I can't turn one of them back into an investigator. I think we're going to need that ability.

No, I get it and you really shouldn't use that skill for their side even if you could. And... If either of them and especially Eren is infiltrating there, then I don't---- want anyone to turn him back. [EXCEPT YES SHE WANTS TO but that would be selfish and a pile of really complicated feelings.] He'd either just somehow manage to show up here with sheer stubbornness or lock himself into a dungeon or something if he couldn't get here. Or at least not feel good at all for the rest of his stay there. ...I guess we should try to be ready for the option that we might not see and hear them before we're all back in Liminal.

[ Maybe she should just focus on kicking the fucking Devil's ass and sending him out of the game here. Or more like whoever is against Strength, surely not Empress since Mei wouldn't send them here but she doesn't actually know Tarot enough to know that it is Devil even if that is one of the easy options to guess by name. That or Death, there is probably going to be a lot of death here. ]

[ She is around... Somewhere with her knees pulled as close as they can be to her face while she keeps hugging them and crying her eyes out. [And a moment later Armin turns the corner, walks over to her, crouches down, and pulls her into a tight hug.]

Much better. [Or that's what she keeps telling to herself and apparently now to Armin too, even when it's easy to tell how they both honestly feel about it.

She will take that as fortunate this time as she does always or most of the time anyway.

Thoughtful, maybe. She is glad that he doesn't care about it and she isn't exactly surprised to get company of him. Not now, not here. Mikasa rushes in to return the hug as soon as Armin hugs her, taking a moment to cry on him. Apparently some things still break her. Maybe that's good thing too, sometimes she almost thinks that she's not even able to cry about anything or feel anything these days.]

I'll do whatever I can to keep you safe here.

[She hugs tighter and she is kind of mad at herself that she can't promise to keep him safe in Harrohell for sure, who knows it might end up being an insane ride for her too but... Damn, she will try!! Still using private lines on telepathy because she doesn't trust her ability to make real words happen at all with all that crying before she will calm down at least a little...]

Actually, money situation considered, this is good. As greedy as that sounds but it is good to have that in all different worlds, or something whatever works for money in them. Sigh, or something between that and a huff.]

Well at least we won't have to worry about not having money here. Mei gave me about 25,000 whatever the local currency is.

[Not 200, 500, 2000, 2500, two times 5000 ... she really says 25,000! ...Yeah, about that fuck ton of money that she mentioned earlier? It may have been an understatement because that is A LOT.]

[He gives her a small smile, gently squeezing her hand.] It looks good on you.

[But then she mentions the money again, except this time she specifies an amount. Armin's eyes widen and he actually gasps in surprise.] ...Twenty-five thousand pounds? [Because of course he's already researched the local currency, and how much it's worth.] That's more than lots of people would make in a year. [People like them, or their parents, anyway. Some people make so much more, but even after living as a Traveler for so long, in what eventually became essentially a post-scarcity society, he's never lost the instincts he gained living in poverty all his life.] That's an almost ridiculous amount of money for just six weeks. [Not that he really knows what he'd do with it either.]

[Okay, she can't not smile at that even though she is not sure how long she'll wear some of these.] Thanks.

[Mikasa nods.] Yeah, it sounds like a lot more than people would make in a few years even depending on their work... [ and definitely more than lots make in a year.] It's seriously a ridiculous amount of money only for our time here, but well, I am not going to ask her to take it back. Just let me know if you need money for anything here whenever you go anywhere without me, won't be a problem at all. [She ruffles his hair.]
