[Ken's tone, at first, is a little bit tentative. Like he's expecting a pat on the head and a comment about overactive imaginations, ha ha, but this is important, dammit.]

It looks like all shadows except for the eyes, and it can hurt you just by touching you, and it screams like a person. It doesn't like the light.

If you go out after dark, take a light with you.

I have not heard of it before, but it also seems like a quite large coincidence if it is just like something you have seen before.

[He kind of has a hard time thinking anyone would bother going for him over...well, anyone else in SEES.]

I think everyone here is an asset to the group, even aside from that. So yes, they probably do pick people with a specific reason, even if it is just a guess on my part.

It seems so...random, to me.

[Mostly he wonders if they couldn't do a lot better by taking established teams who know how to work together, instead of a bunch of strangers who don't know each other and have to figure out how to work together before they can accomplish anything.

Unless that's part of the idea, somehow?]

It made sense for my world.

[ Sort of, anyway. Him and his sister.. that's enough of a unit to work. They understand each other, they can work together.. even though it would have been better for all the others to be with them too, just them did work.

Armin-san said there was someone from my world here before, but they were gone before I ever showed up.

[Which just doesn't make a bit of sense, if they're trying to get people who work together well.]

Perhaps it is difficult even for them to make people stick here. Liminal Space seems to be constantly changing, after all. [ Sometimes even while they're in there. ]

That, or they truly are fickle.. it's hard to understand their intentions when they don't talk to us about said intentions.

[Ken's inclined to believe "fickle," because if they're that powerful, shouldn't they be able to keep people without trouble? Kind of like how once you're an adult, why shouldn't you be able to stay up past midnight every night if you want to?]

Well, I can't say I can speak for the Trumps personally, but..

[ He smiles. It's somewhat audible in his mental tone, too - although not the way the smile becomes a little more bittersweet. ]

People are fallible. Beings are fallible. I don't want to exclude the possibility entirely just yet.
