We have a plan, but it's incredibly dangerous. I wanted to warn you all to be prepared for people from our side to be a real mess when we get back to Liminal.

As amusing as the idea of some random nobody testing out the app and summoning something that could destroy the world, it's not practical and would have likely cost me my contract. That's why aside from the part that requires the summoner to be put in danger - which is relatively minor danger - the summonings have safety features built in.

Do you really think I'm stupid enough to summon something like that without wards? No. I also had something on hand to give him enough of a fight that he'd leave in case it went wrong. Please. I'm not new at this.

Yeah, there were ghosts around here even before Nyarlahotep got involved. And they've been ramping up since then. It's pretty hard to think they're a con job at this point.
