...I missed the start of the Jaunt again, yes? I really do hope this does not become a habit.

I suppose if nothing else I might as well provide a central point for consolidating information again. I find I can never quite orient myself to events every time the Arcana pull this nonsense on me anyway. Would anybody care to fill me in on recent events?

Welcome t'about the third week here. Some 'f us are gargoyles what shouldn't go out in the sun, some of us are forest critters, an' everyone's startin' t'get real caught up in musical numbers.

Hi, Hiroshi! I'm a Gargoyle like Papa here! There's a magic amulet and a fun festival that just ended and I think people are going to steal the amulet pieces?

It's magic and important. I listened to a story about it when I first got here! Once upon a time all the races in Yensid lived in harmony together and every year they brought the three fragments of the amulet--I guess actually they were three amulets on their own that made a bigger one--anyway they brought them together every year to renew the magic here! But one year the pieces got stolen and lost and the magic diminished and the Forest Folk started to go Feral and the Stonefolk turned to actual stone.

And then the amulet pieces got found again and now if they don't get brought together for the ceremony then bad stuff is going to happen. But we got to take them back and give them back to their rightful owners or heirs or stuff first.

I don't reckon it's hard t'go smoother than Harrogate, but it's still comin' along easier. Beatrice's in a position a' power on the human side, mind, so there's somethin' t'keep an eye on. She's gone an' found two thirds a' this magic amulet, it's s'posed t'help unite the races, but she ain't handin' it over.

...that makes about as much sense as anything we ever see in a Jaunt I suppose. But it sounds like everybody has everything under control, relatively speaking.

We're playin' it by ear. It's Beatrice, so we're expectin' some kinda chaos t'kick up 'cos 'f her, but there's always the hope that she behaves.
