open to investigators
Okay, I give up. What's a host club? What can we expect if we show up to this thing?
[ besides yet more twister-tossed sparkles, of course. ]
And did anyone get one of those confessions? I'm still trying to work out if those are as important as folks here seem to think they are.

[She's realizing that she might be more in over her head than she realizes, but she goes on with her explanation.]
I would assume here there is quite a lot of flirting going on both ways. I am, er, investigating the club from the inside myself. Not completely sure how I got myself into it, but I did.
As to the confessions, I did recieve one, but it was quite generic. It seems that in the chaos of the mailroom that day, some love confessions got mixed up.

... but we at least have to try, do we not? It was a despicable act to disturb those confessions, and we should right such a problem as best we can.
[Wow, Leonardo... sounds a bit angry there. That's new.]

[ damn kids will have all new crushes next week anyway what's the big deal gosh. ]

I would hardly wish to spend time attempting to get love confessions to their proper recipient, and would hope the Trumps would not wish that of us either.
[Is that a slightly-bitter tone? Probably.]

... fine, putting aside my emotions on the matter, I am assuming that this Jaunt is the work of the Lovers, given the blatant themes of love and relationships within this school, and that in order to solve this Jaunt we will need to promote as much love as possible. I believe that sorting the confessions correctly will solve the Jaunt and let us return to Liminal Space.
If you two would like to look for other alternatives, be my guest. I, however, am going to attempt what I can with the confessions.

[ and since it matters so little he can stop caring so damn much about it, right? ]
All right, all right, since the all-powerful cosmic puppet masters still can't do their own work let's be matchmakers. I'll go to the host club thing to see what I can find out but I am going to need someone to sneak me a drink after.
[ or during. ]

Are you thinking that part of our solution would be to promote relationships of various sorts, both among Travelers and the natives of this world? That would be... interesting to say the least.
If you are correct, we would have to know enough people to know not only their composition style, but who they might have an interest in, if these confessions we have recieved are not from fellow Travelers.

[Ezio, uh, may or may not have invited him to the host club meeting.]
... actually, Naoto, there is another way. This school must have a composition course, correct? Like the Ivory Tower did, the university we were sent to several Jaunts before. If their essays are hand-written, then I would merely have to compare handwriting to see who it belongs to. It would provide us the name of the confessor, at least, and we could return it to them so they could get their confession to the right person.

So now all we need to do is get our hands on the confessions.

...has anyone asked that computer thingy?

Might be time for us to get on that.

[ his romantic life is mostly sorted out for now thanks so much. ]</small.

Er, I am hardly the one to ask about love confessions. I would not know one if it hit me in the face. However, I do still have the one I received.

[Her tone is slightly rambly.]
And absolutely. I will be doing as much investigation on my own as I can. I am hoping this will help facilitate that.

[ So that is what a host club is! See, that already helps a lot, since Inigo was totally lost here.. the last school he was at sure didn't have one of those, after all, and even though he's taking in the information about the confessions he can't help but wonder-- ]
So are there no reverse host clubs, in that case..? [ You know, with girls.
Since otherwise he feels like he'd be walking into a huge no homo trap by showing up there. ]

[ Not like he particularly looks girly. .. not to that extent, anyway. ]
