Okay, I've got another disco ball here.

[That was the first thing he ever made, okay.]

That's. A little harder to work with than food, since you can't eat it to tell that you did it right, but okay.

So right now it's just made of liminal-stuff. Right? It'll disappear if you try to put it in your hammerspace. That's because it's not really solid yet. It's not really real yet. You have to kind of fill it in with "this is what a disco ball is supposed to be". Not just the look of it, but the feel of it and the weight of it and its insides and stuff.

Though I guess a disco ball probably has pretty simple insides. It's just a sphere covered in pieces of glass.

So I have to like...intensify disco ball? Keep making it over and over?

Not over and over, then you'll wind up with a lot of disco balls. Make it sturdier. Stronger. More. More full of... itself. Like, not proud, full of itself, but more of itself inside it.

Like a more concentrated disco ball?

If you can put it into your hammerspace and take it out again. If you can do that, you made it real.

[There's a bit of a pause.]

Hey! I got this one again!

You got it back out of hammerspace? Good job! That means you can now make cookies that you can actually eat, too.

I'm definitely not going to abuse this.

You saying that makes me think you're going to.

[But she sounds amused rather than worried. What's he going to do? Make mountains of cookies? Extra-disco-y disco balls? She's not too concerned.]
