I know the Trumps sometimes use Liminal Space to send us messages, but I'm not at all sure what this one means. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think the last one meant that the Hierophant, Fortune, Temperance, and the Star are dead.

We can burn that bridge if we come to it.

If the numbers do match, it could be a sign that the conflict between them is more direct than we might have expected. Which might be better than the alternative.

That would mean... they've been killing one another?

Or that what empowers one weakens or destroys another.

That... might be possible. But Fortune and Temperance are both cards of balance...

Then in theory, if they draw power from their meaning, something that shattered balance might damage them.

Was Harrogate that bad for them?

I think it may have been. I didn't bear witness myself, but I've heard tell that some of the Asshole in Yellow's servitor creatures made it into liminal space, after we were whisked away.

Either his gaining the foothold he did shifted something on more than that world, or there's a lingering weakness.

The question is, is it worth the price for us to make something like that happen again?

Not if you want to have a scrap of sanity left on the other side. There's bound to be a way that doesn't involve getting in bed with something that's pure poison.
