Hey.

I know most of us have just been tryin' to keep the hell out of the Starquakes' way, but ... been back to doing a bit of investigating them. Well. Some of it's me, but Minako got something big outta it all that I figure people oughta hear.

This ain't natural. The Quakes, all the transformations, whether that's people or places... they're something's way of trying to reach out and grab people. Talk to them, or ... or through 'em, from some of the stuff I've been hearing. Got some stuff from Lupa that sounds like Harbingers are connected to the wills behind it all, and those things are huge.

But ... it's one big question. The thing that's making them happen, or the things... powerful, yeah, but ... they're lonely.

They're askin' who else ... or where else ... is out there.

It's all coming from ... somewhere beyond the rest of Questing Country. Like the cave people have been poking, but that ain't the right spot - good job, huh. Dunno if the thing's even trying to cause as much of a mess as it is, but all these ... these different dreams and layers of dreams, never mind what the hell that rock's doing... it's kind of turning into something like an avalanche. Throw one pebble and the whole damn mountain comes down. That's how it looks to me, anyway.

And it's still making me think about that thing that caused the Tachyon Storm. That big glowy thing. ...Am I right in rememberin' people talking about 'Starmovers'? Or am I gettin' mixed up with other star stuff?

Question is how the hell are we gonna get through to something like that? This feels a bit beyond sending them a song.

Recreating it's one thing. Could try and grab Lapis and our tech crew here and go to town. Heard some people saying things last time, before other stuff came up. But I ain't decoded it to the same degree Kyan did the Tachyon Storm... I'm an Adversary, dammit, not an Oracle! Do we have any Oracles of Tech Shit?

You said it's looking for people. Well. We're people. I mean, I wasn't for a while, but I'm definitely a person now. So I guess the real question is how do we talk to it-or-them so they know we're here.

Right. We've gotta make a hell of a lot of noise. Way Minako put it was kinda ... 'Where is everyone slash everywhere?'

Heh. You remember that talk we were havin' about the Arcana? That whole 'people versus places versus spaces' thing?

There's a way. There has to be a way.

Emotions. I may be able to hack together a thing, if I can get enough time. I've been slowly working on rewriting parts of my old code.

Unfortunately we don't have an internet to provide the emotional energy here, but if I can figure out a way to recreate the correct resonance, I might be able to do something.

As interconnected as these places are at the moment, do you think Liminal Intranet would help?

It might. It'll probably take a day or two to recreate the important parts... it's not going to be an elegant patch, but we don't have time for beta testing.

I can show you the wires I'll need. I might need to put it on one of your computers to get the amount of processing power necessary for this, too. All I have at hand is a laptop along with my COMPs.

As long as it'll work from Liminal, shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise we can see what else Kanji cooks up, since he's... at least sorta talked to these things before.

It might, or it might not. But I can pull together the code I have. It'll be fairly easy to extract.
