All right. I didn't fill all the gaps I was hoping to, but I have that Arcana information I was talking about ready to see if someone can pull it off the network.

Since there was nothing there for me to pull off the network before this, I'm not sure whether grabbing something or adding your own material would be the easier step. Either way, it's building off of bookmarking a conversation so you can find it more easily later, instead of just wading through the entirety of the network's backlog when you need to find something. If you can backread the network, that should be enough to bookmark something, and if you can bookmark stuff, that should be enough to pull bigger material off the network.

Hopefully this works. Someone let me know if it does?

Not that I could find. Apparently it got wiped sometime around Moebius, so that probably cleared off anything that was there before. [If there was anything at all, but Beatrice is talking like she'd expect there to be more, and Armin theorised that downloading was an old skill resurfacing, not something brand new, so there probably was something, at one point.]

How long have you been gone?

I haven't found a way to measure for certain. Five years? Six?

That's the longest I've heard of yet. I've been here around three years, at this point.

Probably at the beginning. I'm not sure how much I had before... everything, but when I got back whatever I had was all gone.

Backreading the network's simple, at least. On the other hand, my go-to metaphor is the internet, and I have no idea how established that was in the late '90s.

...Well, it wasn't ubiquitous or anything, but it was there. There was an internet cafe in Aoba Ward we used to go to a lot. So give your metaphor a whirl, and if I don't get it I'll let you know.

It is. I haven't tested exactly how far back the record goes, but considering no one could reference it for more details about what came before Moebius, I'd assume it gives out sometime around there.
