At the very beginning of the Majesty's Jaunt

This is Ringabel, and I seem to be quite myself. Who else is in possession of their true memories?

I've found myself outside of the curtain wall of a castle on a floating isle. I smell brimstone and saltpeter, and there's a fleet of airships here coming from the direction of the rising sun.

Yet we're among cheering and laughing children barely old enough to lift a sword, and the mood is jovial. What have we stepped into this time?

I'd like to know what I can so as to avoid drawing undue attention to myself. Fortunately, a Black Mage's robes seem to be in fashionable style here, so my first mistake was not fatal.

I am here, Aragaki-senpai.

Do not worry. I am well aware of how to be a mysterious student from a Japanese elite academy.

... not that Yasogami is anything close, mind.

Gekkoukan's more elite. If you can call it that when the teachers're fuckin' useless.

You stick to the mysterious student thing, I'll stick to a kitchen.

My apologies. Perhaps it is good I did not decide to go there.

At any rate, I will update with anything I find. I am perhaps going to say I am security, as I certainly do not have any sort of magic other than my Persona, which is... quite flashy.

You didn't miss much. I didn't either. [Shinji didn't give up on all of his classes until most of the way through his second year, but he had Ekoda pegged as a useless blowhard within his first couple of weeks. Most of the others were idiots and Edogawa was possibly crazy, but at least they weren't nearly complicit in a student's death.]

Ain't a bad plan either.
