This is Ringabel, and I seem to be quite myself. Who else is in possession of their true memories?

I've found myself outside of the curtain wall of a castle on a floating isle. I smell brimstone and saltpeter, and there's a fleet of airships here coming from the direction of the rising sun.

Yet we're among cheering and laughing children barely old enough to lift a sword, and the mood is jovial. What have we stepped into this time?

I'd like to know what I can so as to avoid drawing undue attention to myself. Fortunately, a Black Mage's robes seem to be in fashionable style here, so my first mistake was not fatal.

I haven't seen him yet, I'm not sure which school he'd be with. I mean not like I would have picked Japan for me, but I guess it's better than being related to whatever the hell that fireworks display from the American school was.

Yeah, you wouldn't like it if you didn't see how annoyingly patriotic some Americans can be. It's excessive and constant.

Oh dear. I have run into patriotic folks before, but not excessively so. It is truly that bad?

Uh. I mean obviously not everyone is, but yeah. That's a stereotype for a reason. Americans tend to be loud, in my experience.

[Drizzt doesn't like stereotypes much, but Casper is his friend, and this is suddenly probably rubbing him the wrong way for a silly reason but.]

I suppose it's the same reason why it's a stereotype that drow are murderous.
