A question of perspective [very early week 4]

So I dunno how many of you I talked to in Questing Country or just after it - or in general, for that matter - but for some reason the place saw fit to make me the Oracle of Perspective. It doesn't let me know everything, but I can still get a general read on someone's perspective at a given time, and given recent events I figured I should try using it on Edward.

Turns out his perspective is a lot more adult than it should be.

That's a very good question that I do not have an answer for. It does explain why he never actually talks about himself, though.

...I mean, I don't really have room to talk on this Jaunt, but I didn't exactly choose to be de-aged for this shit.

Me either. But I mean, presumably Edward's doing this for his own sake? Maybe? There's a difference between the Arcana sticking us into younger bodies and deliberately pretending to be in high school when you're not.

Especially when you're as much of a weirdo as this guy seems to be.

He doesn't actually seem to spend a lot of time with the other students - not that I've seen, anyway.

I'm kind of surprised he wants to spend any time with me, given the circumstances. Unless he just hasn't figured out a way to put me off yet.

Maybe he can tell you're also secretly a grown-up? Like on a subconscious level.

Or he's suspicious of me and waiting to see if I slip up somehow.
