[JAUNT] Two files have been downloaded

--holy shit, that actually worked.

[This is not a voice that checked in at the start of the Jaunt. Someone's just made the trip over from Walkabout.]

Okay, so. Hey guys it's Gil - or, like, I dunno, G1L? I guess? Fucking Tron and shit. Anyway me and Raidou just came over from Walkabout-slash-Finland side-- it's just snow and turning into animals, easy mode - everyone's fine. [not important]

Which is why I came over, because I have some actually useful info. I went and talked to Magician before the Jaunt - it's definitely her versus Empress on this one, for the record - and like, alongside a shitload of cool info on how Synodiporia even works, I know how to get her the win on this one.

There's gonna be a Mutineer at some point - unless it's happened already? Fuck if I know - but whatever they're doing? We need in on that. They're gonna need everyone behind them for this to work for them.

I kinda guessed ROSE would be here. I suppose I should help my patron to win this, then.

Though somehow I wouldn't mind the Empress winning either. This is kind of a tough battle in a way.
verdeleonessa: (Uh huh - sure)

Junior? Seriously?

Not everyone knows about all of the Arcana anyway.

Why should we give her the win?

I would much prefer an end to this entire cycle of games our hosts have been playing, in all honesty.

We also have to consider who else is going to be in the matches after this one. Empress is fairly predictable.

I was a major factor in the last Grid rebellion.

Picking a victory condition that involves us getting involved in the thing that completely upsets the status quo practically seems like cheating.

[You'd think the Arcana would try to keep in mind how Travellers are]
verdeleonessa: (But what if...)

That's definitely a good point.

I wasn't here last time, but my overlay was and... well, there's a reason we even have Revolutionaries.

Definitely can't. If the Arcana were smart, they'd all be picking the rebellion victories.

Rebels? I'm in.

Well, other than the rebels who already seem to be here. They're led by a yellow-lighted program called SHIRO. Not my boyfriend. I think it's his future nibling-person.

Most fucking boring rebellion I've ever heard of, if some of the locals are to be believed.

Should we not determine the consequences of a mutiny before we ascribe to it?
portinari: (equanimity)

[personal profile] portinari 2018-05-19 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that much is certainly sound advice, no matter what we do afterwards.

We might begin by speaking to the revolutionaries.

Hmn. I admit, I prefer the spirit of inquiry to any of the allies of patriarchal autocracy.

How can we best do this and still minimize the collateral consequences?

Keep an eye out for anything worthy of one, then. Social unrest, inequity in distribution of resources, abuse of priority - Gods, abuse of Priority is ripe for this.

Do I need to tell you to court those who have nothing to lose and everything to gain by redressing those injustices?

[personal profile] unapologeticallyaffected 2018-05-22 11:38 am (UTC)(link)
So ... do you think she would approve of you broadcasting everything she told you to everyone here? Including people who might be working against you and want the win for the Empress?

[Idle curiosity here, Eliot doesn't really have a horse in the race.]
