Oh, hang on, just had a thought. A brainstorm. The folks-in-black investigating weird things...what if they had other weird things to investigate besides shapeshifters? Can we maybe go...somewhere else and do weird things to draw them away? So the folks up here can snowboard in peace and we can maybe skeedaddle to somewhere warm before we get yanked back to liminal.

That'd do it! I mean, I can turn into a freaky bird-man or a tentacle-headed robot thingy to contribute to weirdness but I was thinking maybe going further away for it. Like maybe around the...Medi-terrian Sea? Someplace warm.

Would they follow that far? You'd have to figure out what sort of spy network they had and what areas they monitored to tell where they're likely to notice thing.

We could lead them on a reeeeally long chace, though! That one agent did think I was an alien, after all! Leading them all the way to the mediterranean might be a bit too far, though...

...yeah, I'm getting a little ambitious. I've spent too much time in the hotel watching these three stupid British guys* do these races all over the place.

That long chase idea sounds great, I really don't care where we ed up so long as there's at least 80% less snow.

Should be at least 50% less once we get them off the mountain! That should be easy enough! Just need to find a good yeti costume that fits someone who can skii reeeeally well and we can lead them all the way down! And if we know someone who can drive, we can even do relay race style things! A hitch hiking yeti sounds perfect for the sort of thing that gets talked about in message boards!

Costume, costume...is anyone here good at making clothes from liminal stuff? I can just change my own, but I know other folks can manage it with other people.

Mm... I can't do anything with liminal, but I saw some stuff in the shops that I could make into a costume! It's been a while since I've made LARP outfits, but once you learn, you never forget how!

A LARP outfit is a costume for a Live Action Role Play! Like cosplay, but made so you can move around more easily and actually have proper mock battles and stuff!

Yeah. They've literally cut a hole in the ice so that people can swim in the icy water. Some even stayed in for a long time.

Other sorts of monsters, more and weirder lights, unexplained sounds...the usual stuff that gets folks all tizzy-fied.

Well, it's slightly difficult for me to tell what the usual is.. I only recently discovered dragons aren't normal to most people we come across. [ For better or worse. ]

...oh, okay, yeah. I hear that, where I'm from people travel between dimensions via tornado and there's witches and stuff. But after Traveling a bit I've kinda figured out what rattles most folks' cages.

At least some of the worlds we visited before had magic in them.

This world somehow manages to get by without that entirely.
