Once you push past the initial half-kilometer or so, it seems to be tied to how capable you are with the network. I think I'm pushing 50 kilometers by now. [60, when you throw in the 'brain juice.']

I don't really feel like trying to measure that card table to see whether it's bigger than that.

No, I get it. It's more useful on jaunts than in Liminal - sooner or later, Liminal has an edge, but jaunts have scattered us across some pretty wide spaces.

It's been a while, so I can't remember if I deliberately set out to expand the range or not - just that half a kilometer wasn't nearly enough for Bando, so it wasn't clear how many people were actually around until the check-in got going. Maybe try pushing out to a full kilometer first, and see where that takes you?

[He knows Kanji will be able to get considerably further than that, if it is tied to network capability, but sometimes explaining 'do the same thing only harder' gets tricky.]
