Okay. I have fuckin' been here before. I remember this stupid Founders Day party. There's going to be some kind of upset soon after it, but I don't remember what yet.

And just in case it wasn't obvious, those are Travelers from years ago. I know them. I ain't got names for all of them yet, but I got memories now for almost all of them.

Pretty sure I ain't crazy, and I can't be the only one. So who else remembers this, and those other Travelers?

Okay, but I ended up talking to Joscelin before we got dumped onto the Jaunt and to him this is only his second Jaunt. So, like, I'm completely sure that this is a fuckload of time travel bullshit.

So, like, the working theory I have is, like, they somehow found a way to have, like, a Jaunt within a Jaunt.

Since it's been somewhere between four and six years, dependin' on how many Jaunts there were between now and Moebius, yeah. Changed a lot.

That sounds more complicated than it has to be. They jump around in time all the fuckin' time. Why not jump us to the same time and place twice?

Could be a lot. Add back random chance, and it makes them harder to predict. Add back hope, and it makes them stronger. Add back temperance and they get more balanced and able to restrain themselves, instead of makin' stupid-ass mistakes because they go too far into their idiom.

Anyway, I'd rather we narrow them down more, not add to the army of godlike beings against us, thanks.

I mean, Matthew can do this shit to ridiculous amounts--like, he's the Armin of liminal space shit--so it might make sense to go with him anyway, so we don't have to rely on Fortune to return us back. Because I'm pretty sure he has a few multi-person bridge portals in him and I could maybe squeak out a second with extra people if I dig really deep into my reserves.

Since he went 'What' at me in public I kinda figured other people noticed him, so I didn't send up a Joscelin signal.

But, like, I've seen him around as an Infiltrator here. Some guys were calling him Hotfoot.
