For those who joined us last time we were in Liminal Space, that was a Jaunt. We go in, blend in as well as we can [and some irritation bleeds into her "voice" because THAT didn't happen] do whatever we're supposed to do, and get called back here. To "help" with the investigation, some of us think we're locals of that world for the duration of the Jaunt. Not all Jaunts will be like this, so be ready for anything when we have another one. But the basics are the same-- do what you can, don't give up.

For those who just joined us, you'll know what I'm talking about sooner or later. It's probably best for now to get used to the psychic network, because it will be very useful to you during a Jaunt. Find a veteran traveler who can help. Except for Garrett-- he'd sooner insult you than give you the time of day.

If you have questions for me specifically and you want to keep it off the network, I'm over at the over-elaborate wedding cake. Otherwise, using the network is fine.

As far as I can tell, yes, we're all still here. This isn't quite like last time.

[And if they're missing one or two, then it's far and away from the vast drop off the Trumps gave them before.]

Just making sure. ... We were thrown a nasty surprise before, who knows if next time, we'll no longer get a warning.

I don't think we will. I don't know what game the Trumps are playing this time but after Belljar, I don't think we can be complacent in any way, shape, or form.

Point taken. They're stepping up their game, pulling in big waves of newcomers, but discarding only a few.

Rebuilding our numbers, perhaps. We are useless to them if we cannot complete our missions properly.

And yet it might cause us some problems too. Remy might not be able to keep up, and some of us might end up trying to run herd on all of the newcomers.

That's why we have enough Veterans to help him out. He can't do this on his own. No one can, not alone.

I mean with supplies. We... struggled, last time, with scarcity, and there's only one of him to provide us with water.

I am doing my best to try to learn what he knows, that I may help us as well. Magic is not so permanent in Liminal Space, though I can make every attempt to melt ice and give us water. Beyond that, I can do little else.

But I wish to learn so this does not happen again.

Honestly, I would do the same-- but I don't know where the water I create comes from, so it's not safe. And right now, I'd rather get back what Liminal Space had taken away from me. [Which is her teleportation, really.]
