Could someone watch Rose for a bit? For... reasons?

[Does he really need to explain? Anyone who noticed Zoe's back can probably guess.]

[Someone who definitely doesn't know why he's making this post is opting to add little firework images throughout. Hardly the most nefarious application of psychic interference, at least.]

[And he sends some images of fireworks back at Rose, from a number of worlds - interspersing them with hers so they go back and forth.]

You might even be able to get a notion of what she'll try next with the network.

[Currently she's quite enjoying the firework exchange]

I can look after her, if you're alright with that. Young Rose is familiar with me after our trip to Finland.

She should be relatively low trouble right now. I think. Probably.

She's outgoing, at any rate.

I'm rather used to outgoing types. My own child, or well my future child, is quite the same. I have no doubt she'll be like that as a baby as well.

I've settled for a low key acceptance that I will always be confused.

It's been working so far, at any rate. Once you realize the baby doesn't believe in gravity, that's just how things are.

Rose is a very talented child in Liminal and Network. She'll be a very talented youth as she ages.

I'm bracing for the day she learns to do something we didn't even realize was possible.

Ah... that is possibly isn't it?

She uses both from a completely different perspective from the rest of us.

I'm pretty sure it's inevitable.

Let's just hope it's something we can at least understand and counter, then.

I'm basically in an arms race. With a toddler.

Things that surely weren't on the list of things to expect from life.

Gave up on that particular list a while back.

She is a bit older than my son back home, but I am sure I can entertain Miss Rose for a while.

I can also send some snacks along for you and your wife if you like.

[They have been to world with names just as out there, but it still gets his attention.]

He's the son of Greg's friend Vidalia! He's much bigger now, but when I helped Greg watch him, he was very small and couldn't talk except to say 'meh.'

[Apparently that's just a thing babies get named]

Rose managed to find a shortcut around that stage by talking in everyone's head.

She's pretty amazing.

I'm sure she is! Human children are just amazing anyway!

She's the most amazing though. I'm so lucky.

Zoe and I are a bit... occupied right now, but Rosie loves meeting new people.
