Looks like we really hit the movies, huh? This is all kinds of awesome.

Anyway, Yosuke here bringing you your regular check in post. I'm half-infiltrating the first time. The guy I'm in is called Jesse Parker and he works at the Final Cut, but also in random jobs all over. I can show you around and help you blend in if you need assistance!

So who all have we got here? I checked and at least Naoki and Usagi are infiltrating. Haven't heard from Kanji yet. Might be another walkabout going on? I can bridge over there later to check on them if no one contacts us from there.

At least this '50s seems to have about 500 percent fewer isms. That's a net plus in my book.

Yeah, pleasant surprise. I mean, a lot of these guys are still assholes, but it’s because I’m broke and not famous rather than because I’m brown and a woman.

That’s true, times were tough in entertainment back then. World events-wise, we’re so isolated here that it’s hard to tell what’s going on out there. People are way more concerned about script revisions than whether or not the Cold War’s on.

Fine by me, really. Less people freaking out over ultimately less-important shit is a win.

It’s easier for us, but isolation makes people weird. There’s already too much drama and I haven’t even seen a hint of what our friends might want us to do yet.

The hints probably won't come too strongly in the first week. If nothing else, we get a little room to get our heads around things before the chaos really starts, most times.
