Jaunt, Near End of Week 1
[Ignis has thought about what to say for a bit now.]
I've been accepted into the household of the heir to the throne, Caelum. However, I have done so by convincing him that I am insane. What sort of threats should I keep an eye out for?
[Ignis. IGNIS. That pun was intentional.]
((OOC: Also yes using the same icon since spoilers))

Also, there is a good deal of difference between formally adopting someone and having them as part of one's household. I suspect this is more the latter than the former.

Which is still weird.

[Other than Historia, who is actually a good Queen.]

...Well, I guess that's one way to get one of us in the door, but what the fuck.

It was more his idea than mine, and I ran with it.

If this comes to battle, as I hope it will not, make sure that mounts of all that surround you, not just the prince's, are sure-footed.
[His thoughts are laced with old pain and regret. There's another pause, if a shorter one, before he goes on to add:]
In general, stay by his side. If you can contrive in your madness to sleep at the foot of his bed, do that. I do not know if the Princess Weiss is likely to hire assassins, but she may, if she is truly serious about her usurpation.
There is, of course, the possibility of poison. The Arcana have blessed--or cursed--us with the ability to seemingly come back from the dead as Investigators. You should use that to your advantage. For any food that does not come out of a communal dish, contrive to eat it before Prince Caelum does.

The mount advice might be hard to execute, considering horses do not exist on my world. I fight on foot, at any rate, and have pole arm training. Horses shouldn't be an issue.
[He drops into thought again. If the solution was to simply sleep at Caelum's bed, he'd do it in a heartbeat. But there's too many complications that could arise from those actions--and also Noct would probably ask what the hell he was thinking afterwards.]
... As much as I would like do to both of those, they would cause rumors and make people question Caelum's worthiness even more. I have items that can cure poison, so I am not worried about that--I just need to be in his vicinity to administer one. My main concern is to find some way to secure his bedroom while he is sleeping without making people question his suitability. If the heir to the throne can be coerced by an insane man to let him sleep at the foot of his bed, then how many people could manipulate him?
Otherwise, I would in a heartbeat, just to be certain.
