Week 2, the morning after the summoning

[Exasperation. And anger at the stupidity he's about ready to mention:]

A group of idiots just managed to summon the Genius of the Entire Atlantic Ocean, whom promptly escaped their attempts to contain him and possessed their leader. The Crown Prince and the Princess were also both present--and the genius is amenable to not murdering everyone. Even deciding to bide his time to decide which one of them he may decide to support in their fight for the throne.

Even though he seems amenable enough, he can surround you with water and drown you where you stand, so don't try his considerable patience by being a prat.

Oh yeah, there's heaps of us. Kinda tends to happen when your "luminous, shining leaders" [and you can just hear the air-quotes] are intergalactic conquerers. But more specifically, you know those two giant ladies that were around a couple Jaunts back, right before all the film stuff? Pink and curly, and the giant blue lady? They're Gems as well.

...you know what, though, that might not be a bad idea. I'm not much of a booksy type, but maybe I should give it a shot.
