[Jaunt] Late week three
So why exactly do we have floods of sea water around Londinium? What the hell's going on?
Don't tell me someone actually decided that attacking the entire ocean is a good thing.

[There is the mental equivalent of dragging your hand down your face.]

Wonder if we should start getting the water out somehow.

[There's a biting edge to his tone, anger held in check.]
Excuse me if I didn't want other people to have to deal with that on top of everything else. I assumed we wanted to find this outcome fairly rather than who held the most power.

There were other ways to deal with that. Other ways that didn't include angering the whole ocean.
You could have tried to talk to the ocean like some others had and not with a "leave or else" way. Ever heard of diplomacy?

Technically I'm actually from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, not the future, so my slang's different too.

[He. Might have been hidden up in the far corner of the liminal theatre while you and your friends watched the prequels. Sue him if he likes movies.
That said, Obi-wan is a clear favorite, as well as Padme.]

Films did not exist in my time, but I will admit to having viewed quite a few since coming here, including three that began with that phrase. Those were about your grandparents, I presume?

I hope it's not.

Talking probably can't make this worse at least.

But I think we can manage to avoid that one.

And anyway, he said he was mostly worried about his descendent and making sure he was ok. I don’t think that’s a good reason to attack him.
no subject
Descendent?
no subject
Yeah. He said his descendent helped summon him but he wasn't feeling well during it, so I think that's why it went wrong? And he wants to look out for him now that he's got the chance.
no subject
Did you find out anything else?
no subject
[Usually people just tell him relevant information.]
