Okay, so, uh. There's a black panther monster thing running around in the street, killing people. Just. In case anybody was wondering. Might want to be careful, maybe stick to going around in pairs, unless you actually like dying horribly and um. Getting eaten. I'm pretty sure that's what happened, anyway.

On a related note, can I get somebody to be back-up gryphon-checker in case I don't show up some morning to let him out? He was kind of pissed at me this morning when I finally got to him.

Yeah, you're good. Thanks. He's in a stable sort of thing at the end of the immortali slum block. I'm kind of thinking of just staying there, myself, if I can get away with it. Or sleeping in liminal space. That'd be the safest one. Kind of boring, though.

Pretty much no warning on the attack, though. Or I probably would've been okay. I may not be the strongest fighter out there, but I'm fast, and I could've gotten out of the way if I'd heard it coming.

Oh yeah, trying's one word for it. I'd be your buddy, but I think you might get overwhelmed pretty fast. I've kind of been bouncing around a lot, at all the parties.

Did you ever get used to seeing the dead people everywhere?

Yeah, I’ve mostly stayed by the docks, it’s… quieter.

And I’ve not so much gotten used to it as figured out how to live with it. More or less.
